Land of Iron

"Land of Iron" is a short poetic graphic novel about a man's struggle. He is torn between his duties and drive for achievement, and his soul's pull towards a life of meaning, peace, and beauty. The struggle, that many of us face, usually ends in an unfortunate way. This is inevitable considering all the things we sacrifice on our road to glory. Sometimes, by the time we remember what truly matters, It is too late.. and our iron cloak is too heavy to break free. "Land of Iron" is told (mainly) visually. It is not like a traditional comic, but when the reader takes a deeper and more thoughtful look at the illustrations, successive layers of meaning will be revealed through the many symbols, allegories, and visual metaphors. At the end of the book, a number of puzzles challenge you to find some symbols and objects hidden throughout the story.
