Beguilement

Young Fawn Bluefield has been kidnapped by an inhuman entity known as a malice. To her rescue comes Dag, one of the enigmatic soldier-sorcerers known as Lakewalkers. But in the ensuing struggle, an uncanny accident befalls Dag's sharing knife, which unexpectedly binds their two fates together.
