Al Kent's Music Machine EP continues the theme of Million Dollar Disco's latest edits series, chopping and changing some fine disco moments, stripping out the boring bits and enhancing the good... "The Get Down" started life as a super-in-demand disco title, hunted by many. Al's take was by far the most popular choice for release when the Million Dollar Disco Facebook was asked for nominations. This however is a whole new version, stripping the track right down to not much more than its bare bones. "The Strut" originally gained notoriety a few years back when a certain other disco producer put his twist on it, creating quite a buzz. That version's long since disappeared, so it's high time we got a new one.. and here it is, heavily chopped and rearranged. "Heatwave" is one of those tracks that surprise us all.. Al originally put it together quickly for a gig, played it half-heartedly, then was floored by the response.. it's a biggy!
