**The Springfields'** debut LP, *'Kinda Folksy',* featuring a young **Dusty Springfield**, captured the singers as all-around-entertainers with a somewhat, as the title says, folksy bent. They put across such Folk material as *Lee Hays's 'Lonesome Traveler'* and pseudo-world music like *'Wimoweh Mambo'* with energetic Pop arrangements. The album also includes more internationally minded songs: *'Wimoweh Mambo',* a brassy arrangement of *'Tzena, Tzena, Tzena,'* and *'Eso Es El Amor'.* Side B of this vinyl reissue features eleven tracks culled from the group's singles.
