Her followup’s were solo efforts including “One day I’ll Fly Away†and a year later “You Might Need Somebodyâ€. The in Macon, Georgia born singer Randy Crawford released her ninth solo album ‘Rich and Poor’ through Warner Bros. in 1989. It is a nice mix of Jazz, Funk, Blues & contemporary R&B. The album contains a superb version of Bob Dylan’s “Knocking On Heaven’s Door†with guest appearances from David Sanborn on alto saxophone and on the guitar Eric Clapton.
