Melanie Pain
Nouvelle Vague fans have truly seen Melanie Pain's name more than once. The singer and multi-instrumentalist musician from Caen had already published two solo albums with a French-indie tendency with My Name in 2009 and Bye Bye Manchester in 2013. But three years later, she said to herself that the time has come - she rings in change with the arrival of his third opus Parachute.
Following her meeting with her hero Gael Rakotondrabe, pianist and arranger for Antony and the Johnsons and CocoRosie, Melanie Pain decided to take an important artistic turn for Parachute. So no more pop-folk - this is time for dark electro atmospheres with the piano put in the foreground, while the voice of our hostess is used as an instrument, as heard in 'Like A Ball' and 'In A Box.'
