One of the greatest vocal groups in the history of American popular music, the Mills Brothers, gifted with an innate sense of swing, unrivalled harmonic perfection, and phenomenal virtuosity in their flexible vocal techniques, invented the "vocal-instrumentalist" genre by imitating orchestral instruments to perfection. Their success was enormous, equalling that of Bing Crosby, Louis Armstrong or Ella Fitzgerald, with whom they made memorable recordings; some of them can be found here in this selection of their greatest titles.
