Savannah Churchill was one of the greatest female vocalists of the 40's and 50's. This album is unique because it is the first to be devoted entirely to her work for the Manor Record label to be released on CD and apart from a couple of recordings on compilations and a long deleted CD shared with another diva. The 40-track 2 CD set includes her huge 1947 hit "I Want to Be Loved" which topped the charts in America for 8 weeks and generated scores of cover versions.
