Never Too Late

'What do you want to be when you grow up?' I remember my gandmother asked me on my 10th birthday. I answered honestly... 'I'd like to be a musician' but you could have heard a pin drop in the brief moment it took before my parents chorused in with something like 'that's not a real job Peter'. And guess what?... more than 30 years later I still want to be a musician. I never really abandoned the idea it's just that wives and kids and places to live seemed to present themselves (as they tend to do) and everthing else gets wound back for another year. Does everyone else over the age of 40 still feel exactly the same as when they were 25 years old? In this my first release through CDbaby you'll find some rather commercial sounding tracks like 'Learn to love again' and 'Something inside of me'. You'll also find yourself wrapped in some vulnerable, introspective moments with songs like 'Oh Papa', 'I Miss you' and 'It hurts me so'. There's also a couple of driving 'up tempo' tracks which are really only there because I felt the album would have been too moody without them. Most of the tracks are spurnned from very personal moments in my life and if you'd like to know more about the origins of these songs take the link to my website. So if the journey is as important as the destination. If you've ever found youself in a troubled relationship or wondered what 'might have been' take a moment to test drive some of these tracks. It's never too late to dream. It's never too late to try something new. It's never too late to take a step back and ask yourself if you like what you see..
