Loveheart

Back in 1999 Merz was everywhere: Top of the Pops, Later with Jools Holland, and Glastonbury to name but a few. He was even the subject of a 4Music documentary on Channel 4. Signed to Sony/Epic, he looked set to conquer the world. Since his considerable splash, Merz has apparently disappeared without a trace. But six years later, he is well and truly back with a dazzling album, 'Love heart'. Elaborating on his early pastoral influences, the album features an astonishing range of delicate instrumentation, and crucially, is illuminated by brilliant arrangements.
