The Mob

Crime drama adapted from the novel 'Waterfront' by Ferguson Findley and directed by Robert Parrish. When detective Johnny Damico (Broderick Crawford) fails to catch a fleeing murderer, he's given a chance to redeem himself by going undercover in the mob. Tasked with finding out the true identity of a notorious boss in charge of an extortion racket at the docks, Damico must first convince the other, highly suspicious members of the gang if he is to have any hope of surviving, let alone succeeding.
