Badland

Western starring Kevin Makely, Mira Sorvino and Bruce Dern. Following the American Civil War, Detective Matthias Breecher (Makely) is charged with rounding up notorious Confederate war criminals. Wandering the Old West, Breecher arrives at the house of Reginald Cooke (Dern), only to find that he is sick with pneumonia.

Charmed by Cooke's daughter Sarah (Sorvino), Breecher resolves to help out around the homestead while simultaneously pursuing his mission of justice.
