Clueless

Amy Heckerling's hugely successful high school comedy is a modern day version of Jane Austen's 'Emma'. Cher (Alicia Silverstone) is a precocious teenager, acutely aware of her own superior social standing in relation to some of her classmates. She is just as sure of her position of authority at home as well, until her stepbrother arrives to disrupt the status quo.
