Upstart Crow The Christmas Special

Double bill of festive episodes of the BBC comedy written by Ben Elton. Starring David Mitchell as William Shakespeare, the show follows the struggles of the Bard's early career and his domestic life split between London and Stratford-upon-Avon. In 'A Christmas Crow' Will is busy preparing his new play 'Eighth Night' for a royal performance, while his hopes for enjoying a quiet family Christmas are dashed by the arrival of Marlowe (Tim Downie), Kate (Gemma Whelan) and Greene (Mark Heap).

In 'A Crow Christmas Carol' Will is visited by a mysterious stranger who encourages him to help Greene.
