Sean (Stephen Mangan) and Beverly (Tamsin Greig) are the successful creators of a popular British show. They’re also happily married to each other and life seems like it couldn’t get any better. That is until they find themselves pursued by the charismatic president of a US television network and asked to move out to LA to oversee the remake of their show, and help tailor it for an American audience. Things however take a turn for the worse when the couple realise their newfound benefactor has never seen the show and he has replaced their original, Royal Shakespeare veteran star (Richard Griffiths – WITHNAIL AND I) with Matt Le Blanc! With Le Blanc onboard against Sean and Beverley best wishes, a complicated struggle for power ensues and a series of conflicts and ego trips that threaten to not only obliterate their show but also their marriage.
