In MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING, Julianne Jules Potter (Julia Roberts) finds out that her best friend, Michael (Dermot Mulroney), is getting married and realises she's in love with him. As jealousy rears its ugly head, Jules embarks on a mission to stop the seemingly perfect bride-to-be, Kimmy (Cameron Diaz), from marrying Michael.
