Stanley Donen directs this affectionate spoof of the double-feature musical comedies of the 1930s. Divided into two segments, it even boasts a halfway interval featuring 'trailers' for forthcoming attractions. The first segment, 'Dynamite Hands', stars Harry Hamlin as Joey Popchik, a young boxer on his way to the top.
