Sonny Chiba stars in this cult Japanese horror from director Kazuhiko Yamaguchi. Based on the manga by Kazumasa Hirai, the film follows Akira Inugami (Chiba), the only surviving member of an ancient clan of werewolves who uses his supernatural powers to help solve mysteries in and around the city of Tokyo. After investigating a series of bloody murders, Inugami finds himself being hunted by intelligence officers looking to harvest his blood and steal his powers.

The cast also includes Saburo Date and Ryôji Hayama.
