Buena Vista Social Club

Wim Wenders directs this documentary which follows musician Ry Cooder as he travels to Cuba to reunite the musicians who played on the bestselling album 'Buena Vista Social Club'. The band were recording an album with singer Ibrahim Ferrer, and are shown in interview - talking about their lives, careers and personal philosophy - rehearsal and performance, concluding with a final, triumphant concert at New York's Carnegie Hall.
