Larry Carlton and Steve Lukather - the Paris Concert
Larry Carlton
This long-awaited, on-stage meeting of guitar legends Larry Carlton and Steve Lukather was shot at a 2001 show at Paris's New Morning Festival. Known as a guitarist's guitarist, Carlton was an integral part of some of the most successful music of the 1970s, playing for many years with Steely Dan and contributing to numerous Joni Mitchell records. Meanwhile, Lukather became a recognised guitar maestro for his work with Toto, while developing a successful solo career. The two musicians' respect for one another and their pleasure in playing together is apparent here, as they pool their creative reservoirs for an inspirational, unforgettable evening. Tracklist includes: 'The Pump', 'Blues Force', 'It Was Only Yesterday', 'Red House' 'Don't Give It Up', 'Room 335' and 'Put It Where You Want It'.
