On time for the release of their tenth album „Death Magnetic“ the Bay Area Thrasher ordered the juggernauts to drive between Europes concert mega cities and did a great two hour long show. Metallica today – that is a homogenous, imaginative and vigorous rock band that writes brilliant songs and outspends itself completely. When you see them live the band reveals itself as a true metal-workaholic. Their gigs have nothing to do with conventional concerts. Their dramatic performances with staggering techniques are milestones of rock music. In 2008 Metallica signifies again for brute guitar riffs, abrupt changes in tempo, rapid solos and complex song structures. The quartet that worked their way up from garages and clubs to arenas and stadiums reveals its original, uncompromising roots, supported by their very loyal fans.
