As an experienced climber (Naomi Watts) ascends New Hampshires Mt. Washington, a huge blizzard approaches, forcing her to turn back before reaching the summit. On her way down she encounters a lone, stranded man, taking it upon herself to get them both down the mountain before they succumb to the storm and nightfall.
