Documentary about pianist Alice Sommer-Herz. Aged 106 at the time of filming, Alice is the second oldest person in London, and lives alone in a small flat where she practices the piano for two and a half hours every day. As a young woman she spent two years in a Nazi concentration camp with her six-year-old son, where she played over 100 concerts.
At the age of 104 she published a book about her life and experiences entitled 'A Garden of Eden in Hell'. This film tells the story of her long and varied life, her philosophy and her music.
