The Clash
Formed in 1976, The Clash were one of the founding bands in the early British Punk Rock movement. There is no doubt that the band could rock, but they also incorporated elements of Reggae, Ska, Dub, Rockabilly, and even Hip Hop to create their unique blend of music. The Clash garnered major success and recognition worldwide with seminal classic releases such as “London Calling”, “Sandinista”, and “Combat Rock”, to name but a few. Their sound, and energy still remains pertinent in the modern rock genre! This DVD captures them at their best on stage in California & Japan, 1983 and 1982 respectively!
