Jinjer | Duél
JINJER, one of the leading bands in modern metal, returns with their highly anticipated fifth studio album, "Duél". Known for their unique progressive groove metal sound that is impossible to copy and goes against everything written in the heavy metal rulebook, Ukraine's JINJER have cemented their position on the global metal scene through relentless touring and extreme success with their previous albums including the chart-topping 2021 studio album "Wallflowers". Having previously shared the stage with the likes of Arch Enemy and Cradle Of Filth, the latest additions to JINJER's intense live schedule include supporting legendary Sepultura on their farewell tour.
The new album shows the very best of JINJER's multifaceted, extreme soundscapes. Nothing less than the highest level of musicianship is expected from the modern metal frontrunners, and song by song, JINJER skillfully delivers fierce attitude and strong emotion. Charismatic singer Tatiana Shmayluk's extraordinary vocal performance combines brutal growls and epically clean vocals that float on top of choppy riffs, intricate drum patterns, aggressive guitars and Eugene Abdukhanov's signature bass magic. On "Duél", JINJER continues their long-standing collaboration with producer Max Morton, who has helped produce, mix and master the album.
