Drive-By Truckers | The Complete Dirty South
In 2004, the Drive-By Truckers unleashed their monumental album, which would go on to become their highest-selling record to date. Titled The Dirty South, this concept album delves into the condition of the Southern region, exposing its hypocrisy, irony, and ongoing tragedies. Among its notable tracks are live show favorites such as "Tornadoes," "Where The Devil Don’t Stay," and "Puttin' People On The Moon," as well as rare gems like "Goode’s Field Road" and "Daddy’s Cup."
The Complete Dirty South is a band-led reinterpretation of the original album, with primary member Patterson Hood taking charge to reimagine the work in a way it was originally intended to be experienced. This complete edition boasts resequenced audio, three additional tracks, four remixes, and updated vocals.
