Awakening Suzanne

My journey into the world of poetry started in 2000. I had just joined the Lynn Andrews Mystery School and in my first year my creativity was sparked by the amazing work we do in the school. Lynn is my mentor and has helped me in so many ways. She has encouraged me to find my dream, my act of power and this compilation has come full circle. When I graduated the school in 2003, I gave myself a gift of my first trip to Egypt with Mary Lomando who has become my best friend and is responsible for astounding inspiration. Mary is a marvelous astrologer and did my first reading before our trip to Egypt. She told me I would fall in love and that we would work together teaching women. I told her to go back to astrology school because none of that could happen. Well, everything she told me came to pass and I apologized, I never doubted her again. On my travel I feel deeply in love with Egypt and with my Temple Watcher. Many poems in this book show how deeply attachment felt like annihilation and how the teachings from Lynn Andrews and the Sisterhood of the Shields kept me on the path to enlightenment. I am also so grateful to Normadi Ellis, the Queen of Poetry, for her marvelous books on Egypt. Her works made clear the symbols of the Hieroglyphs and inspired me to go deep into myself and the gateways and movements thought consciousness. I am humbled by my teachers. They are all powerful women who have graced me with their knowledge.
