The year is 2100. Global Warming passed the point of no return half a century ago. Instead of trying to reverse it, the World simply prepared themselves for it. The city of Victoria is no different. They saved part of their city, a rich, coastal suburb with factories nearby, by surrounding it in a glass semicircle, known simply as The Dome. Those who could not afford to or chose not to set up residency in the dome were forced to what still remained above ground after the flooding- the skyscrapers of what was once downtown. This other city, known as the raft, is a busting, market based farming city that has close relations with their partner city of The Dome. This works fine, for awhile. Everything flows smoothly- until the Cascadia Fault breaks, threatening the structure of the dome, as well as the lives within it.
