Spirit Led Christian

SPIRIT LED CHRISTIAN "To be led by the flesh is death but by the Spirit is life and peace." (Romans 8:6) The Bible says that the true children of God will be those who are led by the Holy Spirit. Thus, we are called the sons of God and have received a spirit of adoption that makes it possible for us to enjoy an intimate and personal relationship with the Father Creator of the universe. We can approach Him in confidence knowing that He loves us more than we love ourselves and that He will give us what we ask for if we ask according to His will. Indeed, we are heirs to the world! However, there is a carnal part of us that is not yet redeemed and it contends with the Holy Spirit for attention and for the job of leading. How do we know when the Holy Spirit is leading us? And, how can we hear His voice over all the noise of the world and the many other voices that are trying to speak to us? Every Christian must learn how to be led. It is not on auto pilot and there are forces working against us. There are basically two ways to go in any situation: we can go the easy way of the flesh which leads to destruction, trials and tribulation or the more difficult way to life and peace by the Holy Spirit.
