Regina, the writer, has an unusual antique typewriter that she got from a lady name, O-Z-La. The characters in Regina's book come to life and she has to get control of them and get them back in the book before they are no longer characters but real people. Little did she know she would meet them while on vacation. Once she's home, she realizes that some of her other characters has jumped off the pages and are trying to take over and do their own thing. The mysterious waiter is at it again, not going by the rules of the book. Will Trudy, Regina's friend, be able to get him back in the written script?Regina has to get them back into the book before they become totally real and her time is running out.
