Mephibosheth

ow on the throne of Israel, King David remembered his promise to his friend Jonathan. "Does any remain in the house of Jonathan?" he asked. Ziba, a former servant of King Saul, told David that a crippled boy named Mephibosheth lived in Lodebar. When Joab and the Gibborim mounted on warhorses rode into the little village, no one expected to see them stop in front of Mephibosheth's house. The villagers watched two mighty men carry the boy to a waiting chariot. His nurse followed behind the boy and joined him in the chariot. Many unknowns awaited the poor, crippled boy who was being taken to see the king of all Israel. Little did the boy know all that awaited him-a new home, new friends, new adventures, new challenges, new opportunities, and a new family. Will the boy adapt to his new life?
