Margate, Kent, July 1938. A light aircraft crashes into the sea in view of 5000 startled holidaymakers, killing its 19 year-old novice pilot and Marjorie Walk, his teenage passenger.'Marjorie Walk' is the true story of two tragic deaths told in a series of short poems that present the reader with scenes and characters from a 1930s seaside resort which capture the fun, and perhaps a darker side, to life in pre-war Margate.
