Living According to God's Standard

Since creation, people have been on a quest to establish a standard of living that meets or exceeds the expectations set by society. The right house, fancy car, a high-class profession based on acquiring copious amounts of wealth to live a lifestyle that says we vacation more than we actually work. The peer pressure of society trends have flooded our atmospheres and subconscious with the idea that wealth cannot come to you unless you rise to these positions or adopted certain behaviors to make it happen. These concepts even go so far to say that if you do not have what has come to be called a "high" standard of living then you are not important and you have not accomplished a truly successful life.
