In the pre-colonial African society, moral lessons, norms and values are taught through storytelling. For instance, an African parents would not tell their child why bullying is bad, rather they would tell a story about the horrible things that happen to a child that bullies others. In this book, we collected stories from 18 African countries some of which are old as one thousand years. More over the writer came from a griot family.
