When Carlie Michaels finds out that her husband is having an affair with a much younger woman, everything changes. After the divorce, she finds herself struggling to raise her two children on her own while holding down a job, which barely meets her bills. On top of all the usual struggles of being thrown into single mom status, her trusty blue truck breaks down and Carlie is left trying to figure out how to keep everything going. When Carlie's estranged husband decides to write off their kids forever, the news throws the family into another world of hurt, pain, and confusion. Carlie finds herself turning back to the One she knows who can heal herself and her children. Carlie Micahels finds herself once again struggling to trust God, who she knows loves her, yet she cannot comprehend why Joe Welsh left her and the kids not once, but twice. She is left to wonder if the struggle and pain will ever end. Colt Storm, a rancher and furniture maker from Colorado, enters into Carlie's life at the most awkward moment. Unexpectedly, he helps Carlie in more ways than Carlie could ever expect or dream about. But is it enough for Carlie and her two children who are also struggling with the hurt of the divorce? Colt does not want to jump into anything with Carlie Michaels, but leaves everything in God's hands and prays for God's will in both his life and Carlie's.
