Chilkoot Challenge

Excited and optimistic, May, her two close friends Pat and Fay, and her 16-year-old daughter Alice set out to hike the 33-mile Chilkoot Trail from Alaska to the Yukon. The unknown wilderness runs along their path and hypothermia, a forest fire and a lost canoe are just some of the challenges these women must face together. When a precious artifact goes missing on the trail, Alice is disheartened and questions her own group's involvement. May is set on winning the $2,000 prize in a travel contest and as the group is pushed to the limit both mentally and physically, Alice must step up at a time of her life when confidence is hard to muster. Inspired by Dagg's own trip to the Yukon, Chilkoot Challenge follows the footsteps of four determined women on the adventure of a lifetime.
