Erina Beauchamp, a New York writer, is offered a chance to venture across the pond to ghostwrite a soccer wife's biography. The idea fills her with dread and sheer boredom at the thought of listening to another rags to riches story but she reluctantly agrees to the challenge, hoping it will finally lead to the promotion she's always wanted. The trip is a far cry from what she expected and connections are made that will change her life forever.
