Hurrian Arrapha

This monograph-based on detailed analysis of primary sources and drawing on literature dedicated to Hurrian history and social life-helps us reconstruct the last period of Hurrian Arrap?a's socioeconomic history. As an ally of Mitanni, Arrap?a was its foothold in the East, similar to the kingdom of Allala? in the West. Therefore, the conquest of Arrap?a by the Assyrians, as well as by the Babylonians, was a way of retaliating Mitanni hegemony. The book is written in Georgian with English Resumee.
