Thirty + One Transformational Thoughts

For many years during my special times with God, He has deposited in me precious nuggets of truth that I am then able to apply to my life or share with others whom I serve, counsel and pastor. I am a firm believer that whatever we need for all aspects of life is found in Scripture, hence I read my Bible with that mindset. These thirty + one transformational thoughts came out of a month of studying the book of Job as set out in the 2020 Bible Study Guide of our church, Sanctuary Empowerment Centre. For me, the book of Job has always been a difficult one to read because while it starts out with lots of action, it then slows down to an ongoing, back and forth conversation among Job and his friends, and then, God with Job. So admittedly, it has not been one of my favourites. However, as I read on this occasion, Holy Spirit illuminated truths that I had never seen before! Sometimes an entire verse, but very often just a phrase jumped out at me and excitedly I would scribble down my thoughts in my journal, which I called at the time, My On-the-"Job" Learnings. Then one morning, Holy Spirit pressed me not to scribble but to write and as a result, this book was birthed.
