Los Libros de la Senora Jella

This picture book introduces readers to the life of Jella Lepman. After World War II, she returned to her native Germany that she had to flee from since her family was Jewish. Determined to help the children, she created a book exhibit. She thus provided relief and hope in middle of the ruins.
