The Secret World on the Other Side of Mind 1st edition

Forget all that you know about your world; especially when the world was made round only to keep you wandering endlessly. Even though sometimes you might look racing up, but you end up merely in a loop. Without an exception, for winning the game of your apparent life in real sense, knowing its all secrets beforehand is indispensable. Rubert, our protagonist, is a simple next door living guy. He doesn't see an iota of dark webs around his 'Apparent World', unless one day, he starts hearing some occult voices in his dreams. He gets intimidated by the voices which insist him to venture out and meet a white bearded master on the Himalayan peaks. The very following day he agrees to it, though in his dream only, lo! His employer happens to commission him on a new engineering project in the same mountains. Midst the shivering cold, not many hours have passed after Rubert arrived in mountains, he encounters a strange old man in astounding circumstances. This chap turns out to be no ordinary man but the same advanced Himalayan mystic, who can perform any miracle of the world. He is such a master that he already knows Rubert's mind in entirety. After suspecting in the beginning, Rubert finally submits in and grows immense faith in his host. For four successive days the former visits the cave of master on the hilltop. During this time, master excites Rubert about the 'Secret World' and narrates to latter innumerable maxims, experiences, experiments, analogies and also the unheard before stories. Before the adieu, out of great love, the master bestows Rubert three things - (i) the capability of invoking a 'divine vision'; (ii) a miraculous wooden box which could produce enlightening text written on the green leaves; and (iii) the unfathomable knowledge of 'eternal truth' in the secret world. Later on in the life of Rubert, everything keeps on happening strictly as per master's plan. After finishing the engineering project on mountains, Rubert returns into his apparent world and continues living with his beautiful wife, cute daughter, loving mother, conspiring colleagues in his office and also a tyrant moody boss there. Although generally the life was supposed to be the same, but it is no longer that way for Rubert. Now he has got the mystical ability to watch out his 'Apparent world' and 'Secret world' both, that too simultaneously. Gradually he attains the capability of talking to and even seeing his master through the telepathy. Also through the miraculous wooden box which he possesses now, he can read his master's messages any time. And not only this, by way of invoking his divine vision, he enjoys another great advantage of watching eternal truth of the entire world around him. Given this all, his apparent world has never remained the same. Running through the innumerable experiences, experiments and expounding by master, finally Rubert learns to conquer his 'Apparent World'. In his fulfillment, the mysterious mission of master also completes successfully. 'The Secret World.....' is lot more than a book for several reasons. Most figuratively it doesn't preach dogmas upon the reader; rather it sticks to the ground practicalities of modern life. This novel, which chiefly revolves around Rubert and Master, never imposes orthodoxy upon the readers. Sudhir Mittal's writing etiquette has never been in that way. After meeting master on the hills, when Rubert returns into his apparent world, the whole story takes a tantalizing turn. Written beautifully in 'Flashback' mode, this book puts up the intrinsic facets of householders' lives in superb clarity. An important note at last! This book might reveal certain mystical experiments which the readers may tempt to try upon themselves, though it will be absolutely safe and easy for them. In this way, not only Rubert enjoys the 'Secret world', but you also do that greatly.
