Research shows that the causal direction from social inequities to social exclusion to health inequities is multidirectional and mutually reinforcing in feedback loops. . Micro-level analyses of the links between reproductive health outcomes and their socio-economic and cultural antecedents in different settings would go a long way in tailoring services in locally relevant way. An attempt is made in this study to examine the practices of social exclusion and achievements of social inclusion of reproductive health practices of traditional communities in a chronically drought prone and backward district of Andhra Pradesh.
