A Christmas Tale

Two classic Rumanian fairy tales by one of Europe's most beloved authors. Little Petru braves an icy winter night and a haunted well to save his mother, learning along the way that human decency is more valuable than all the conventional piety in the world. In a touching allegory with pre-Christian roots, the Sun-Child collects the tears of humankind in crystal philtres, risking all the while being consumed by the heat of the sun and the weight of human woe.
