Leaders' Beliefs on the Critical Success Factors Delivering Elearning: Executive Beliefs About the Critical Success Factors in Designing and Delivering Elearning for Adult Professional Development
Ann Armstrong
The purpose of the study for this book was to gain an understanding of what e-Learning executives believe to be the critical success factors for companies to successfully define, design, develop, and deliver training and education over the world-wide web. The study was a qualitative, multiple-case study design including: in-depth, semi-structured interviews that incorporated verbal critical incident examples; analysis of extensive forms and observations; and it incorporated a validated survey tool, the Dimensions of the Learning Organization Questionnaire (DLOQ). The book begins with the research problem, purpose, research questions, design, and method. A detailed literature review is followed by a detailed explanation of the study design. Findings, recommendations, and conclusions complete the study. The eSUCCESS framework to assist leaders in successful eLearning implementations provides ongoing guidance.
