Developing human resource, particularly the members of farmers group through farmers group approach is the present changed role of extension organization. Farmer?s group are being one of effective tool in extension of agriculture technology. Similarly, group approach is being used in other non-agricultural activities for extension of technology. The study assesses the performance of farmer group?s member on human resource development. The study focus on the group members? knowledge, attitude and skill changed through group activities, confidence developed, skill transferred and satisfaction in the skill transfer after involving in farmers group. The major theme of the study was to access the farmer's group as an entity which should not be taken as a tool to transfer but a medium of individual skill development. The activities preformed within group could be an effective way to develop human resource from a different perspective which has not been given importance by government and non-government organization.
