A study that analyses the catholic view of the century between the beginning of the Reformation in 1517 and the outbreak of the Thirty Years War in 1618 in the light of Proventialism. It intends to sketch a secular profile of catholic discourse about Luther, the Reformation, the wars with the Turks and the status of Christianity.
