Mike Daniels has lived his entire life in Wisconsin and is completing his master's degree. When he gets an opportunity to do a study of invasive species he jumps on it. The problem is that the study takes place in the Florida Everglades. Mike is used to the Wisconsin river where the biggest threat is a snapping turtle. The Everglades are full of nasty things that bite and squeeze and are just downright terrifying. He has no idea what is in store for him.
