A serious modern student of the Persian/Parsi language is confronted with two major problems, ie 1- Finding Persian words, to replace the foreign "Arabic", "and innumerable "arabicized Persian words" and nowadays for "French" and "English" words, and, 2-relearning the Persian grammar especially the usage of verbs, paralyzed by the Arabic grammar. It is unfortunate that these two "diseases" were primarily introduced by the unscrupulous Iranian scribes, writers, and poets. Thus the task of speaking and writing in Persian language is a formidable one, a path with innumerable obstacles and pitfalls. The fact is that the Persian language is still alive as a strong subcurrent under the so-called present-day "Farsi" language, primarily by the pioneering effort of Firdowsi, the great linguist and poet, who set these words "Parsi", "Farsi" and Ajami' in their proper place. The student of the "Persian language", ie "Parsi", must go through a relearning process in order to be able to find Persian words and relearn the grammar. The literature of the 5 centuries after the "Arab invasion" must be studied and Persian words extracted, . This task is simplified by "Zarbiz e Parsi", which sieves the texts and separates Persian and arabicized Persian words.
