Tick Tock Tower

The house at the top of the hill had a tower with a thirteen-hour clock. Those outside the village of Hickory had noticed that it had been a year since blue shafts of light could be seen ascending into the night sky at the thirteenth hour. But now it had started again. Despite the rumours and its sinister appearance, Brian and Val just knew the day they first saw it that something was drawing them to live there, but what it was? They were about to find out.
