If Not Now, When?: Stories from a Singular Life
Cathie Rene Eisen
Cathie R. Eisen was born in 1958 in Suffern, New York, thirty miles north of New York City. At seventeen she followed her dreams and headed west. When her car blew up in Ottawa, Illinois, she sold it, bought a backpack, and hitchhiked to California. She eventually took up residence in New Mexico. Through her ensuing adventures, Eisen has become an avid journal keeper and writer. Her essays and poetry have been published in several local publications and have found a following through her blog and various "open mic" venues. She currently resides in Nogal, New Mexico. If Not Now, When? is a collection of stories in which Eisen explores her singular existence, the challenges and rewards of a simple life, and her never ending pursuit of happiness.
